Frequently asked questions.

What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a major component of traditional Chinese medicine, where the practitioner inserts fine needles into the body at specific points aimed for healing specific health problems.

Is acupuncture painful?

Acupuncture needles do not feel the same as hypodermic needles. Acupuncture needles are hair-like, fine, and very thin. When they are put in, they may cause a mild electrical sensation, but should not feel sharp and painful.
